Unsere Welt zu einem Platz für Väter machen, keinen geringeren Anspruch verfolgt die Kampagne ‘Think Fathers’. Denn manchmal vergessen wir, wie wichtig Väter für den bestmöglichen Start von Kindern ins Leben sind.
Die Kampagne des Ministeriums für Kinder, Schulen und Familien (Department for Children, Schools and Families DCSF) möchte zu öffentlichen Dienstleistungen, die Vätern nutzen ermutigen. It brings together representatives of government, employers, and all those working with parents and children, to celebrate the important role of dads in family life, and try to overcome some of the challenges they face.
We know from talking to fathers and mothers, from all backgrounds and circumstances, that health services, schools, and businesses could better support dads, and make it easier for them to be involved in their child’s life.
Die Stimme der Väter soll verstärkt und die öffentliche Haltung gegenüber Vätern verbessert werden. Dazu soll in den Medien eine breit angelegte Debatt über Vaterschaft geführt werden.
Our goal is to drive discussion around fatherhood in the twenty first century, highlighting the importance of dads in children’s lives and the need for services to facilitate and empower fathers to take more active roles.
