Sara Schaefer Mu\u00f1oz , Redakteurin des Journals und Mutter einer zweij\u00e4hrigen Tochter ist verantwortlich daf\u00fcr, das die B\u00e4lle in der Luft bleiben. Am Donnerstag hat sie sich unter der \u00dcberschrift Play the Work-Worry Name Game!<\/a> mit Wortsch\u00f6pfungen im Zusammenhang mit der von Catalyst ver\u00f6ffentlichten Studie zum Thema ‚Elterliche Beunruhigung wegen der Zeit nach Schulschluss‘ (PCAST<\/a>) besch\u00e4ftigt:<\/span><\/p>\n

But the Juggle feels that PCAST is not the only underreported stressor out there that\u2019s a threat to workplace productivity. We\u2019ve identified a few of our own that should be the topics of future studies:<\/span><\/p>\n

CCDB<\/span><\/strong> – Colleague College Discussion Burnout: The inefficiency generated by hearing each detailed step of a colleague\u2019s child\u2019s application process OR the envy\/morale issues generated by hearing all the fabulous colleges where said colleague\u2019s child was accepted. <\/span><\/p>\n

PECH2<\/span><\/strong> – Parental Envy of Colleagues\u2019 Happy Hour: Workplace morale problems generated by rushing parents left out of childless colleagues\u2019 after-work martinis. <\/span><\/p>\n

JPCC<\/span><\/strong> – Juvenile Phone Conversation Concerns: Fear that colleagues will overhear your baby talk on the phone OR the worries\/inefficiencies generated when employees fear listening to said talk. <\/span><\/p>\n

PSDP<\/span><\/strong> – Parental School Drop-off Paranoia: The fear that teachers and non-working parents mock you as too rushed and uninvolved in school activities. <\/span><\/p>\n

PIOP<\/span><\/strong> – Parental In-Office Paranoia – The anxiety that your workaholic boss or colleagues think you are a slacker, or worse, mock your unflattering \u201cmom\u201d jeans.<\/span><\/p>\n
